Trend Alert: Color Blocking Craze

Summer is in full swing and one of the hottest trends making its mark in the fashion world is Color -Blocking. Even if you only follow fashion trends with one eye open, you know that this season's runways were the most colorful in years!  Sure you may be thinking to yourself that people generally wear brighter clothing in the summer anyway, which is true, but if there was ever a time to embrace colors, and unmatched colors together, now's it.  Recently Hollywood's elite like Katy Pery, Jennifer Lopez and Olivia Munn were seen rocking this season's must-have trend.

Are You Sexy...?

The world of fashion is very unique. From High Fashion vibrant shows, to elegant dresses made from the designer with just a needle and thread, fashion is all around us. From Punk attire, to formal wear, we bask in the element and want nothing more than to wow the crowd. The one question that I would have for the ladies is, “Are you sexy?”

The immediate thought that came to my mind when I first asked this question was, what is sexy? Is it the woman that speaks with elegance and class? Or is it the sassy woman that walks in by herself holding a clutch and sporting the brand new Jimmy Choo’s? Maybe it’s the woman with her friends that is the best looking and the most men try and holla at. But you know, that to me does not define sexy. Sexy to me is being aware of who YOU are. I first came into my own sexy when I created my first dress. I wanted to be different and make the world speak as I walked by. Sexy is realizing that you are plenty and you will turn heads regardless of who is in the room. I think of it like this, when I walk by, if people ask who I am, I have just taken my sexiness to a whole new level. So how do I become aware of my own sexy? Yes honey, you guessed it, it’s in what you wear!

  

For today’s working women, stay at home mom, or college grad style is so important. It tells who you are before someone meets you. It programs the minds of people to clearly have a positive or negative opinion about you, before they make eye contact. Lets face it, the perception that we gain on people is clearly by their outside appearance. None of this is more evident than when we go out! That’s right, when we hit the club scene, we are clearly judged by people, one way or another. Did you know the number 3 place in the world to meet a potential mate is out on the town? Oddly enough, plastered on most people’s websites are an incredible picture of them wearing their most elegant pieces, and in the workplace women are known for delivering their best outfits.

Maybe you are one of the many woman saying, "Clothing don't make a difference." Women lie, men lie, but numbers don't! I took a poll of 100 women that went out on Friday . The question I asked them was, "When do you get the most attention when you are out, and what were you wearing"? A stunning 85 percent of the women said, “They were approached and got the most attention when they felt they were looking their sexiest”. Meaning, they left the jeans on the nightstand people!

The problem is, where do you go to get the best pieces? With so many designers like Roberto Cavalli, CoCo Channel, and Karl Lagerfeld, department stores like Nordstrom, Macy's, The Bay, Sears, and clothing lines such as BeBe, Marciano, Gucci, Dolce Gabbanna etc. Who creates the most stunning evening wear to empress the masses?

We have expanded into another 5 countries, which brings our brand to the grand total of 14 countries worldwide wearing Jaide. We are thrilled to have you along for our ride and are so thankful for the support that you have shown us over the years.
